Now that the lavenders are flowering, the bees are flying around as many other insects.The background color comes from the flowers of some Euphorbias that were just in the right angle for the picture. The body of the bee was also well lighted by the bright sun.I took the photo handheld and I've just cropped a bit and adjusted the levels.
